I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend- a day longer for some. Wahoo, right!? Can’t complain about an extra day off. Jerod & I decided to take advantage of the long weekend by exploring some slot canyons in Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument, checking out some rock art as well as a natural bridge in Capital Reef National Park, and soaking it up in some natural hot springs in Monroe, Utah.
I'm really digging these hot springs! I visited Fifth Water Hot Springs during the fall which was amazing as well. If you missed that blog, you can read it here. These hot springs were quite different than the Fifth Water Hot Springs. Mystic Hot Springs are located on private property in Monroe, Utah. The water source comes out at 168 degrees! But no worries. The water is about 98-110 degrees when it hits the tubs/pools. The owner is able to adjust the temperatures if necessary. Mystic Hot Springs has two pools & 7 bathtubs but only 6 were working when were there.
